From ordinary to outstanding.

My driveway is about 25-30 years old, and needed a “facelift.” I first used a Direct Colors acid stain, and then gave it two coats of their solvent based, glossy sealer. It’s not as dramatic as it would have been had I done this when the concrete was newer, but considering the age, it looks pretty good. I’ve received a couple of compliments from neighbors.

Not for use in freezing climates

I applied the Antiquing Stain followed by Easy Seal over my stamped concrete. The first year it looked great. The second season after freeze and thaw there were some spots which I treated with their acid product, then reapplied stan + sealer. those. Two years later after a very cold winter it peeled everywhere. 1,200 sq ft of mess that I had to strip off with a stripper + 36 hours of powerwashing. It rolled on very easy. A very smooth coverage, no bubbles or streaks.Two coats look perfect. We like how it repells water and dust dirt doesn't stick. It also holds the stains color making it look rich. My chairs do not scratch the coating which I was concerned with. I would buy it again at this point. Time will show how it will wear.
