Learn MoreDesigners Fountain T8 LED tube strip lights are the perfect solution for commercial lighting needs. These light fixtures are designed to save energy and lower maintenance costs. The LED tubes included use less power to produce the same amount of light as fluorescent fixtures. The LED lamps are a low maintenance solution that eliminates the need to replace wired ballasts and drivers because the power source is in the tube. Because it's LED, you will never hear the hum that fluorescent fixtures make. The tube lamps in this commercial lighting strip provide bright white 4,000K CCT light at 7,200 Lumens (1,800 Lumens per LED lamp). Designers Fountain uses quality LED chips that last for 50,000 hours of continuous use. The fixture and tubes come with a 5 year warranty. Fixtures are ETL listed and can be installed in damp locations. The T8 LED tube lamps are DLC listed to qualify for commercial lighting rebates and special incentives in certain areas.

Disappointed
Two of the bulbs are not working. Lowes does not stock the replacement bulbs. You cannot just use any bulb. $25 per bulb from the manufacture. This is for the bulb, shipping & "additional packing materials" needed. Save yourself the trouble & buy an LED fixture without the bulbs!

Don’t order online.
Rating not fair to the product. But, online shoppers need to know. I ordered this online and without opening the box I heard the lights were broken. When you lift the carton end to end you hear the glass run the length of the box. Nothing on the box says fragile so I’m sure Lowe’s employees treated it like a toolbox or a rug and handled the box carelessly. I’ll only buy it from the store shelf where it is likely handled with care.

Decent light
I have 6 of these in my shop. Within 5 years two of the ballasts have went out. The first one I felt like was a fluke.... but with the second one I feel like it's poor quality.

Recommend picking it up in store
When I opened the box, 2 of the 4 bulbs were broken. Nice and bright once I found replacement bulbs at a different hardware store. Disappointing on how they wrap the bulbs inside.

great upgrade
I upgrade my existing 8ft florescent fixtures in my un-attached garage and this was a great purchase.This is light weight compared to what I replaced, no ballast (extra weight) and I installed myself with no help. The light is so much more natural with no yellow hue and since there are 4 bulbs per unit replacement will be much less expensive when one burns out. Has operated under teen temps with no delays. Bright light!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light is just what we needed in our shop space of the basement. It illuminates a long length of the workbench and surrounding area. It wasn't difficult to install and appears to be good quality. It looks like it'll hold up for a long time. It's a fresh update to old lighting and perfect for what we needed it for.
