These screws hold up really well even with multiple attempts. One surprising feature was after stripping one out, it was still possible to back it out due to the way torx works. I don't want to go back to Phillips. The included bit doesn't hold up for the whole box of screws, so plan to buy one more.
Rust proof, less tear out, good screws
I used these Deck Plus #8 x 1-5/8-inch wood-to-wood deck screws to stop squeaks in a subfloor, and they worked excellent for the job. They drove in smoothly and pulled the subfloor tight to the joists, which helped eliminate the movement that was causing the noise.
