Nifty little tool. I've not used it for trim removal but to wedge in and nudged pieces together during assembly. I'd suggest visiting the manufacturers website, www.trimpuller.com, and see what other items they make along with tips and hints for this one.

Best way to remove trim

Would Recommend

There are lots of way to remove trim, but this is purpose-built. It's built well, has a great handle, and it has features that optimize getting trim off the wall. There's a strike plate behind the blade to set it between the wall and trim. The angle of the blade is such that it's flat against the wall and angled on the trim side. Definitely makes it go faster with less damage to the wall.
