Just go my new DEWALT 20V MAX XR Brushless Cordless 1/2 in. Hammer Drill model # DCD1007B. What a heavy duty beast. Top of the line and a great addition to my Dewalt collection.

I have owned this drill for a couple of weeks now. I have been using it with a 4" plant auger bit. It has performed extremely well. Plenty of power - I've used it solely in first gear. The anti kickback function has been great too when I hit rocks. I have had to retighten the chuck a few times, so I'd prefer an option for a keyed chuck, but I won't let that change my five star rating.

Love this drill I won’t it on a give away so I have 3 different hammer drills but the compactness of this one is my favorite. It has the power I need with the size I prefer

i use this drill every day in an industrial maintenance role. great power and light weight. drill wood, steel, rubber, every time. i work in a sand plant and goes through very dirty and dusty environments and doesn't skip a beat

Hmmm
Seems to shut off when there’s too much torque. Kinda tough to drill with hole saw. When the hole saw catches, as they often do, it just shuts down. Will not power through.
