Great air compressor

Super quiet!!

Good & Affordable For the Power

This air compressor is much quieter than other similar PSI compressors, but still don’t expect it to be mouse quiet, it’s still got a decent noise level. We’ve used this to power a variety of tools including a plasma cutter. It’s handled everything we’ve asked of it so far great. Holds pressure well. Heavy but still more portable than other similarly sized/powered options. No issues yet but haven’t had it super long.

Improvement from pancake compressor

It is quiet. And works very well. Happy with my purchase. Makes my plasma cutter (among other things) work perfectly.

Air filter service

Manual is not very good. You will not be able to remove the air filter canister to clean or inspect due to the protruding nozzle. You must unscrew the nozzle tube first, it comes out, this is not evident as it appears to be part of the molded canister. With the nozzle intake tube removed the filter will come off for inspection.

A very quiet air compressor

I picked up the compressor in the Lowes store, installed the wheels and ran it through the break-in process. I've only use it a couple of times but I'm very impressed with the noise level. It is very quite.

Huge Ultra Quiet Ripoff

If you're looking for a quiet compressor, keep looking. DeWalt says 62.5dba, then again under 70. Pick one. Mine measured 90 with an uncalibrated phone app but my ears told me it was close, and really loud! Others have confirmed the 90 number. What a ripoff!

DeWalt Extemely Quiet 20Gal, 200Psi air compressor

Boy is it quiet! My neighbors won't hear this one. Packing box was dinged within reason. All the assembly parts were there. At inital start up there was an air leak on a plastic air line to the on/off pressure switch housiing. I reseated whatever was loose and got it to build pressure. It is a heavy unit and not made to move around much. The handle design is terrible and not balanced to the center of mass for easy movement.
