Not happy

Motor blew after a year. I own 10s of thousands worth of dewalt tools. Overall happy with pretty mush all of them Not sure if I got a lemon or they are all this poorly made but mine smelled like it was burning. Checked hose for clogs and filters. No issue there. Ran it for a few more minutes and it burnt out. For thus price I was hoping for a high quality machine.

Excellent product

I bought this and the 20V drywall sander because I'm building an addition on my house and knew I'd have a ton of drywall sanding to do. I've only used the sander with this dust extractor twice so far, but it does a fantastic job. I'd say it captures 95% of the dust for what I've used it for so far.

Great little vac

Does not fit dewalt tools

The hose attachments don’t fit any of my dewalt tools, which is why I bought it..it’s ok for dust but not for any big debris the hose gets clogged

Doesn't contain silica dust

I used this vacuum to capture cement dust from a grinder, using the provided filter bag and filters. The container and bag filled with dust and the expensive HEPA filters clogged. The filters are supposed to self clean...that didn't happen and dust blew back out of the grinder due to back pressure. Dust went all over when I had to dump the dust into a bag. The hose and included connector don't connect to a standard 1.25" dust collector on my grinder. Good luck finding a connector that works sin...

works good the the porter cable 7800 drywall sander...use the fleece replacement bags they work good

Suction Could be stronger. Filtration is great

I would like it to be more powerful, but the auto clean filters allow you to vacuum up concrete or other fine dust without clogging up the filter media in 30 seconds flat so it is better than anything else I have found in this price range.

Buy this over a standard wet dry vac

I was confused as to the differences between a dust extractor and a wet/dry vac. (i.e. can a dust extractor be used as a wet/dry vac.) I also was tired of spending a significant amount of time cleaning up dust after a project. So I took a chance and ordered this unit. I live in a condo and don't have the luxury of a dedicated indoor workshop with plumbed dust extraction.
