I literally bleed black and gold. I have more DeWalt products than most hardware stores! Unfortunately, I also own this pile of crap. My 60 gallon air compressor has less than 4 hours of lifetime use on it and it’s been back to them twice for repair. I got it back from them last time, I moved and it sat unhooked for maybe 2 years. I have had this compressor for 2 years. Only have about 20 hours on it. Motor quit, replaced the 2 start capacitors. Turned it on, it ran for about 2 minutes and the pump quit then the motor blew. I am not impressed with this product. I have used a number of compressors as a mechanic. I use this one at home so not any heavy use.

Bad Capacitor
I was able to fill up one bike tire before this unit failed and would no longer run again. Unit came with a bad start capacitor and I had to jump hoops to get it replaced on my own time.

Outsourced unit, warranty doesn't mean a thing
The manufacture of the tank sanborn seems to have common practices to not reply to emails. My tank is making disturbing cracking noises based on pressure not heat. I called DeWalt they said for warranty I need to speak to the manufacture who actually is Sanborn manufacturing. They said they would send me a replacement. Unbelievably BAD - Catastrophic failure on 2nd day
I bought this compressor on the reputation of DEWALT to be a dedicated air supply to a blast booth. It was installed with care on it's own pad and hard wired.
