This was a rushed purchase for me. I found myself in the field with no power source or compressed air and a need to get a lot of surfaces abraded by end of day. I own several Dewalt products so utilizing a tool with the same battery system seemed like the best idea. Ergonomically, it fit well in my hand which resulted in less fatigue by the end of the day, and the battery life was surprisingly long. Fewer battery changes = fewer trips up and down the ladder. I’m glad I made the purchase.

Works amazingly well.

Working well for stripping boat hulls. Took some time to get the right sandpaper but once I got that right, it is an amazing combination.

Sufficient for quick use

Only had this cordless model a short time and honestly haven’t put it through too much of a workout. I can say it is obviously nice going from a corded to a cordless orbital. My main issue, as is echoed in several other reviews here, is the awkward placement of the battery and dust port. While this is a frustration it is not too terrible to work with. The dust collection while not ideal, is mostly sufficient for a quick use tool. It would be nice to see some adapters for vacuum hoses, but that c...
