No warranty
I just purchased one of these angle attachments from my local Lowe's. After removing everything from the package I noticed a missing part. Since it was new I called DeWalt to get the missing part. I was told that Dewalt no longer provides a warranty on any Dewalt accessory. Let me say that again. NO WARRANTY.....whatsoever on their accessories. Apparently Dealt is no longer the company they used to be. Even Harbor Freight has a 90 day warranty on everything, and their Pittsburgh brand has a life...
This is one of those tools that I don't have an immediate need for. A few weeks ago I got to use a different right angle attachment and it basically saved my weekend. On the following Monday I did some additional research and I found out about the 1/4 and 3/8 attachments and I marched right down to Lowe's to grab both of them. Regardless of whether or not you need them now, get them now.
