High strength subfloor adhesive creates a weatherproof bond, prevents floor squeak and improves structural performance of assembly
Solvent based, strong synthetic rubber adhesive creates a bond for subfloor and decking installation
Top applications include subfloor, wood to wood assemblies, glued floor systems and deck installation
Features a 15 minute working time, meets/exceeds ASTM D3498 for subfloor install
Covers 86 linear feet at a 1/4" bead size and 38 linear feet at a 3/8" bead size
DAP 4000 Subfloor Construction Adhesive is solvent based adhesive and cleans up with mineral spirits
Bonds wet, frozen and treated lumber - wide application temperature range of 0 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit
Install nails or screws within 15 minutes after positioning substrates in place
Allow to dry for 24 hours before exposing to heavy traffic, fully cures in 7 days

Its the best glue around. 30+ years
Its important to use glue for what it says its for. If you tried to use this for glueing up mirrors and it didnt involve Osb, plywood and joists you may not be impressed. I have framed homes, remodeled and preformed alot in construction for over 30 years. This glue comes in large and normal tubes depending on your project. Great for it's purpose
We used this to help with the movement of our subfloor when remodeling. It's a great in between cover that allows the sheets to stick to the floor joists and keep your screws from pulling up. As the house humidy fluctuates we are hoping this helps the floor to adjust and move when the humidity gets low
Great stuff
This adhesive works really really good. I use it all the time while I’m replacing subfloors. I have never had a problem with the bond on it and dry time is pretty quick also.

Never received ! The delivery status showed delivered, but I waited so long never come. Shipped date was on Dec16, but I didn’t get it. Not able to give reviews
Great subfloor adhesive
Used this adhesive for a repair to a shed floor. The temperature was around 60 degrees so it was right in the range for the adhesive. The wood did have a high moisture content because the shed was only slightly above the ground. It claims to work on wet wood and they were absolutely correct!! I had no problem gunning the adhesive on the wood and the spread of the adhesive was great also. It was fast grabbing so I wouldn’t gun out too much at once. Worked great and easy on my tile and concrete floor. Set quick and firm in a short time. I could not move or remove them after twenty- four hours. Solid
Good product
I used this product to seal down plywood to my indoor garage steps. It was colder than recommended, but it needed to be done. I weighted the plywood down for 3 days and it’s been a month and I’m happy to say no matter who has bounce or jumped, it hasn’t shifted.
