DAP Commercial Kitchen 100% Silicone Sealant is a silicone rubber sealant that is approved for food zone areas and is ideal for sealing in commercial kitchens. Provides a durable, waterproof seal with minimal shrinkage, long-lasting flexibility, and excellent adhesion. Certified by NSF to NSF/ANSI Standard 51, it is safe for incidental food contact. When cured and washed, the product meets FDA Reg 21, CFR 177.2600. Once cured, it is unaffected by temperature extremes from -40 degrees Fahrenheit to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Product is for interior use only and is not paintable. Cured sealant is mold and mildew resistant, providing additional protection after full cure. DAP caulk and sealants provide durable performance for a variety of projects.

Use in commercial kitchens for countertops, backsplashes, sinks, fixtures and to repair tiles

Clean up excess uncured sealant from surface and tools with mineral spirits, scrape or cut away excess cured sealant

Happy so far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This caulk has held up to our children flooding our sink and countertop a few times now. I like that it is less matte than the caulk that was originally done in our home as it’s easier to clean and feels smooth rather than grainy and doesn’t hold dust and grime as much as our other caulk. I haven’t noticed discoloration yet. The tube is the same size as other caulk brands and price is comparable.

Works amazing.

We just recently redid our kitchen and with that comes to silicone around all the new stuff that I’ve installed, especially around our sink and I use this hundred percent silicone that’s for kitchen and it worked amazing. As a food safe product it can be used anywhere in your house that requires a silicone sealant. It applies easily, requiring minimal tooling for a smooth finish.
