DAP AMP 9-oz Kitchen and Bath White Paintable Advanced sealant Caulk

Have to replace everywhere used

I applied Dap Amp everywhere that I needed to paint up to non-painted surfaces. I let it cure completely (days) before I painted. But after three months I noticed that it began pulling away from the walls and non-painted surfaces everywhere I had used it. Almost like it shank. The amount of money I spent on the caulk was nothing compared to the amount of work I must now do to remove it and replace it, repair the areas and repaint. I am done with all Dap products from now on.

Mold Prevention - not

The product says it's guaranteed lifetime - what lifetime? 10 months? It adheres fine and seems to have held up ok for 10 months but mold formed within the year. Not happy about that - needs to be better.

The stuff would barely come out of the tube

Did not work. Could not get the sealent to come out of the tube!

Strong and clear

Strong and sticky and crystal clear. Used it to attach a sink to a wooden counter and also to seal between the wooden counter and a mirror in a bathroom. It covers the wood, but you can see right through it. Seems like nice quality stuff.

Good with a Delta Shower Pan

A particular sealant that is compatible with a Delta acrylic shower pan.
