Big potential failing to deliver

Pros: - fast measurements - the 2-in-one operation is nice and easy to switch - big display + background lit Cons: - as for many people, the pivot broke despite careful handling - low viewing angle of display (can be problematic in specific scenarios, e.g. using the infra probe) - unexpectad switching between degrees C and F when pin probe has to penetrate into even not too solid substance (bread dough, for example) -

Probe release broke off

I bought this product 1 year ago. I use it about 3-4 times a month. The pivot was always tight for opening the probe. It finally failed. The probe simply broke off when trying to move the probe from its rest position.

Purchase Sept 2024, worked great until 2 weeks ago Same as a lot of people, the collar broke at the base of the probe

A Must Have For Grilling!
