no attachment hardware supplied with the rod

bought extension rod for new ceiling fan. Had to special order because the rods in stock did not fit. Order arrived early! Three stars because the rod did not come with hardware to attach to celing fan. This required another trip to the hardware store to purchase installation hardware.
