Waste of money
These used to be amazing. Can’t find one that had a good adhesive anymore. These don’t stick to walls and definitely don’t do what they are advertised to. Not sure when they changed the adhesive but these are a waste of money now.

Waste of money - quality is not the same
I have used command strips for many years and have always had good luck with them, until now. I am very disappointed with the current product. I bought a new package to hang Christmas lights and garland in my kitchen, went over the molding with rubbing alcohol and followed the steps for installing the clips.. Older clips that I had from last year stuck well. The new clips I bought didn't stick well at all. Lights kept falling down. I used a combination of mini-clips and large clips at corners...

No Longer Works
Used to love this product and used them every year to hang string lights. Now it appears that they have changed the adhesive strips and they do not work AT ALL. I bought two brand new packs from different stores and they both were exactly the same. They aren’t even strong enough to withstand the lights being attached to the clip, let alone hold the lights up. One poke of a finger and the clips detach from the wall, even when following all of their recommended steps. Not sure what to use now that...

Not The Best
Bought an off brand for a lower price, they did not hold at all. So I then bought a bit pricey Command hooks (figured they were the best holding) put up my light string, looked great. 2 days later the hooks began to fall off the wall!!!!! Just as bad as the off brand. Disappointed ☹️

False advertising- It doesn’t stick to glass.
This is frustrating. I just bought one this morning and as much as I cleaned with alcohol, dry the area with a clean cloth the glue doesn’t stick to the glass. The worst thing is that I run out of glue already. This is so disappointing and consider false advertising.

Perfect product
I use these hooks in every single home or business we do holiday decorating. These are a life saver. I was reading where I dividuals claims the command caused damage. Well in my experience if you do not pull the strip completely flat across whatever surface you put them then yes it can cause peeling. Not damage free (clear decorating clips)
These are NOT damage free. I used them for hanging lightweight swirl decorations from our foyer, hallway, and kitchen ceilings for a 50th anniversary party. When removing, many of the sticky strips broke off, making them nearly impossible to remove without a pry tool. And for those that didn't break, nearly every single one of the strips removed plaster and/or paint from the ceiling. Great Item But 3M Needs to Sell Refill Strips
Great product, but you need to sell refills for the adhesive strips. It's bad for the planet that we have to buy a fresh pack of the plastic decorating clips in order to get more adhesive strips. If you have to charge a premium for the adhesive, go ahead - just don't make us throw away the plastic clips after every use.
