Metal clasp broke
I bought two of these last year and loved the style-they looked great on my two mini Labradoodles. Unfortunately, after about a year, the metal clasp on one broke. Luckily, my dog was just running to greet a friend and not into traffic. I'm pretty disappointed that it didn't hold up, because obviously safety is the number one concern.

Lettering is horrible.

Cheaper product
So dissapointed. 7 years ago when we got our first dog we purchased the Carhartt color and were amazed at the quality! Letters embroidered on and a strong metal clasp. So recently when we got our new dog, we were excited to purhcase her one again. Unfortunately, the quality control is no longer there. The clasp is now made with a cheap plastic that pinches and comes apart easily, all the vinyl letters have almost completely worn off after only a few weeks (without even washing it!). Nice collar, lettering is a fail
We like the collar overall, but within 2 months I was able to just pick what was left of the lettering off with my fingers. It's holding up well otherwise and seems comfortable to my dog.

Metal Adjuster
So far seems like a decent collar. I've had it for 9 months and other than the letters peeling off in the first month I never really had any issues. Finally, today I noticed that the metal adjuster on the collar snapped clean in half. Not sure why or how, but I don't think metal should snap that easy?.

Pealing Letters
Very disappointed in this collar and how well the lettering held up. Within 4 months of purchase every letter has some kind of damage or has fallen off entirely.
