this is a nice looking jacket but offeres little to no rain protection. within seconds of being in the rain, my shoulders and chest are wet, not damp.

Not a rain jacket

Bought this jacket (OJ6782-M) since I'll be working allot outdoors and needed rain protection. First rainy day test failed. This jacket allows significant moisture pass through it directly onto my shirt. It fits true to size but falls way short as a rain jacket. Better options out there. Disappointed in Carhart for calling this water resistant.
