Cracking of surface

We had this installed this product 6 years ago (in Michigan). After 3 yrs noticed a couple boards with small cracks in the surface. We now have maybe 25 percent of the boards showing minute cracks. The flooring installation company and a Cali hired specialist have confirmed it is a problem. Cali says it's our fault due to fluctuations in humidity. We have a well insulated house with a furnace humidifier, and yes, in the summer on nice days open the window. Otherwise we run the AC in hot weather....

Easy to cut and install. Overall very uniform. Only downfall is that it scratches fairly easy.

Don't understand the haters

I bought a house that had this flooring installed a couple of years before my purchase. I honestly thought that it was vinyl plank and have treated/abused it as such for past year. Never really worried about spills or dog mess around food bowls. Got 2 dogs and a cat. Been in the place a year and the floor still looks great. Now that I know it's bamboo I'll pay attention to spills faster but I've been pleasantly surprised with this flooring.

Re: "Natural" eucalyptus only, which you can't purchase here any longer. "Mocha" version is still available at Lowes however. I have built my own home(s), room additions, sheds, small & very large decks, gardens, etc. for more than 40 years. We had our natural fossilized eucalyptus wide t&g flooring installed about 1.5 years ago, after searching for 5 years for the 'perfect' colour. Not only does the colour compliment our log home, but it has stood up to our 6 dogs. Good Looking, and Easy to Install

Flooring had the rustic look we wanted, and hard pet resistant finish we needed. With the nail down installation it's very solid, without the bounce I usually notice in a floating floor. I installed about 200 sq ft, and did have a couple of boards that were about 1/32" narrow. Unfortunately for one, I did not catch the problem until I was too far along to replace the piece. This is the reason I did not give a 5 star rating.

Great Product. Use carbide saw blade!

Great product!!! It does not require specific skills and tools, just a CARBIDE saw blade. Diablo blades work pretty good. I did it for the first time and, in my opinion, results are very good.
