Solvent-based exterior primer formulated for fast drying and superior hiding. The 100% alkyd formula resists extractive bleeding and moisture, drying far quicker than traditional linseed oil primers so a quality finish coat can be applied within a few hours. Provides excellent adhesion to new, dry, unseasoned mill-glazed siding and extractive-prone hardwoods, and is suitable over previously oil-based stained or painted surfaces. Ideal as a base coat for solid stains and paints on siding, decks, shingles, plywood, and both smooth and rough-sawn surfaces. Covers approximately 400–500 sq. ft. per gallon on smooth surfaces and 150–250 sq. ft. per gallon on rough surfaces; white may be tinted up to 4 fl. oz. per gallon. For exterior use only; apply with a natural bristle brush or spray (0.017–0.021 tip) at 1800–2000 PSI and clean up with mineral spirits. Specially formulated to meet VOC limits in most territories.
