The CST berger MT200 magnetic locater detects magnetic fields emitted by underground ferrous and ferromagnetic objects. Ferrous objects contain iron while ferromagnetic objects contain iron, cobalt, or nickel. On the LCD display, users can see a peak response and hear an audio signal through the speaker. Both of these signals let you know when your magnetic locater has located an object within a 20 inch depth. With its rust-proof aluminum and plastic construction, this waterproof magnetic locater is built for detecting objects in rain, snow, and other wet environments. With power line indication, single-hand operation, and adjustable sensitivity, serves as an asset to any ferromagnetic locating job. And the carrying case protects it as you travel from one job site to the next. Includes a selective Magnetic location. The CST Berger MT200 detects only ferromagnetic objects. This means you do not have to worry about erroneous objects affecting your location accuracy. Such interruption can occur with objects made of aluminum, brass, or copper. When the locater 200 finds an object, it gives off a digital, numeric response as well as a bar graph on the LCD display.
