Great mower

Easy starting, easy maintaining lawn mower. I waited for a year to review. This Craftsman mower has performed very well in all types of lawns. Just pull the rope and go super simple. The Honda engine runs smooth and does it's job. I'd recommend this mower to anyone.

Cheap plastic parts

I purchased this less than 2 years ago. The screws have pulled through the cheap plastic in the front of the mower and it's basically sitting on the ground in the front. No way to fix it without replacing the entire front section. Buyer beware.

6 years and still going (est)

I have beat the crap out of this thing to include mowing brush around old pecan trees that have been neglected for years. I had to replace the mulching cover this year as one of the plastic pieces broke. I am now ordering a blade, and nope I have never even bothered changing the oil...........no reply needed I know what I am supposed to do, just telling you so you can have a honest review.

One of the best lawnmowers I’ve owned.

In all honesty, it has good qualities and bad ones. Good: I’ve owned mine for 6 years. I’ve tried everything to kill it… I’ve mowed grass that was waist deep, I’ve ran it out of gas… still have not changed the oil in it. And I’ve only had to change the air filter once. Bad: The handlebars become weak and once the clips that allow it to fold go… it’s pretty hard to find a replacement. Other than that… I’ve beat the mess out of this lawnmower. Doesn’t run - used 4 times

I used this mower twice and it quit running. I got it fixed. Used it twice and it quit working again. After 4 total uses, I replaced the plastic carburetor. It is a piece of junk and is mostly made of plastic parts inside. I do not recommend this purchase.

poor drive design

do not buy this mower the spline shaft that drives the gear. that drives the wheel becomes stripped and the wheels will not drive. resulting in a new transmission. I'm going to weld the gear on the shaft this will keep me running.

My favorite mower over any other

I have owned this mower 3 plus year's now. Absolutely nothing to complain about, treat it well it will do the same for you! The best mower for my needs. Just wish as of this year that I could go into Lowe's and find part replacement for this mower.

Very disappointed in Craftsman

I am very upset at my new mower that had literary been used twice. The third time trying to use the machine, the machine would not start. We have checked the spark plug etc. etc., and still no luck. This is a brand new mower and a big waste of money. Craftsman should fix this problem. I buy Craftsman and have for many, many years. Used only 2 years.. junk!

We’ve had this mower just over 2 years with maybe 20 uses and it won’t start or stay running. We’ve replaced the spark plug, air filter, checked the fuel line, all with no luck. The only way we can get it to turn over is by using starting fluid. Not please with how much we paid for it than we’ve only been able to use it so few times! Would NOT recommend. Less than 2 years and it's falling apart

Bought mower last year had a decent season woth it. The cam locks for the adjustment arms are garbage. They won't stay locked had to zip tie the arms to use it. Got mower out of storage this year. Put in new plug new air filter checked oil. Put in fresh fuel and it will not stay running without starting fliud. Checked lines and shutoff valve not getting any fuel I suppose. For the cost and head I'm not. sure if I believe in the craftsman or Honda name anymore.
