I bought it about a month ago and have only used it a couple times. The self lock has already quit working. I prob can’t return it because I’ve used it maybe 3 or 4 times. I don’t even work in construction. I’m a designer. Not happy with this.

Love the auto lock feature. The product is bulkier than expected.
Doesn’t work
The lock isn’t strong enough to hold or the rewind spring is too strong. I pull the end out and let go but instead of it holding it rewinds immediately. This particular tape may be defective. I plan to return to Lowe’s when I have to go for something else.
