Service lights
Service light is flashing once very long once long then three times quickly what does that mean? Just bought a new fuel tank for $300 to get it running won’t run need to know what service blinks mean no help anywhere terrible manual terrible service suspect machine
Make sure you have all the parts to your equipment
We have no idea as it came without a power cord and a week later the Lowes store in Sioux City has not found it and have not tried to replace it
Works great Except.......
This machine works great, except on the second time using it the service engine light came on and the engine would not go into max power anymore. Trying to get help to troubleshoot but nobody answers phones anymore. It stayed in the normal power and did throw the snow, but want to know why it will not go into Max Power mode.
It's a Monster
I have had several snow blowers over 50yrs and none can compare to this machine.
2 tries, wouldn't start.
Bought one at Lowes 40 miles away, got it home, charged EFI battery overnight. filled the tank. Turns over great w/110v starter, but It wouldn't start - no spark. Took it back, got another of the same model. Same story. No spark, no start. Called Craftsman/MTD. Read off model & serial numbers from dataplate. MTD rep said they had no info on that model. Contacted Lowes but no one had a clue as to the problem. Possible electrical failure due to being stored outside at Lowes prior to sale season. D...
Shoveling is more efficient than this.
Worst snowblower I've owned. We got about 3 inches of snow last night, and it blew the snow 6 to 8 feet, maybe; did more snowplowing than anything, it couldn't keep up, even at crawling speeds. I actually stopped to check, expecting a sheer pin to be snapped off, but no...all intact! It's just that bad. I've run Ariens (old and new), Simplicity, John Deere, Husqvarna, Craftsman, and have never seen a display as pathetic as this one. I bought this expecting it to be an economical way to get a qua...

It's a Beast
This wasn't made for one-inch snow or a small driveway. The bigger the snowfall, the better. Starts easily, whether by plug-in or pull. Had to assemble this thing out of the box, but I guess it wasn't bad. It has pretty good turn control for being so big and heavy. It's nice to not need a gas mix on the bigger blowers. Only used a few times, but very happy with it so far.
Great Quality
I love how when you turn the key it pumps a little fuel so it starts on first pull. The 120v engine starter is great, but having to plug in a extension cable is about same effort as pulling the motor handle to start. Used this snow blower in very heavy, deep and wet snow and it has no problem. I liked how it powered up to throw harder when it detected it was under load. Tires spin a bunch when you hit compact snow or ice underneath the snow but that probably can’t be fixed unless you go for ...
