Great for heat shrink.
I bought this for installing heat shrink. I have used it a few times and it has done the job very well. I also bought two 4.0ah batteries at the same time. This is my first tool in this new line from craftsman. I have used the old c3 tools for years which helped me decide to stick with craftsman.

Lots of heat in a lightweight tool.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heat gun is light and puts out a lot of heat quickly. I purchased it to thaw a frozen pipe outdoors and it worked great, even when I was dealing with -24°f wind chill.
