Thought I was buying a new item....
The product came in a box that had plastic seals, but when I released the seals, I could see that it had been opened already. The motor was totally new, but 3-4 critical parts were missing: the ceiling bracket, the trolley and the brackets for the emergency door stopper units. Luckily, the unit I bought fit perfectly into the existing track, with the current trolley, chain and ceiling bracket. So now I have the new motor working well with the older pieces, but I'm worried that the older piece...

Look for other than Craftsman.
Replaced a 25 yo Craftsman. Design was very similar. The documentation was terrible, disjointed, and tried to cover several configurations. Had considerable difficulty to get operational. The instructions referred to self diagnostics but little or no info provided.
