Can't change lightbulb w/o uninstalling it
I thought this would be like most lights and that the finial could be unscrewed, the shade part would come off, and then you can change the lightbulb from underneath and put it shade back together. Nope. The white shade does not detach from the vertical pipe piece that attaches to the ceiling, and there's not enough space between the ceiling and the top of the shade to fit your hand and a lightbulb into.
