Looks great but not a beginner project.

The printed directions and pictures where no very accurate. The pre drilled holes were not uniform. Once I figured that out I was able to construct and hang the door with a few adjustments.

Poor quality, wrong color delivered

After ordering this door, the first shipment was lost. It took 3 weeks to receive a replacement. We ordered a gray door. To to an illness I had to postpone installation for several weeks. Take note the door panel must be assembled. It does not come as a complete door leaf. We ordered a gray door. I’m m color blind. I assembled the door and when my wife saw it she let me know it was not gray, but some shade of darker brown. One of the panels has a defect in the finish that is unattractive....

Not what was expected

Ours arrived with a super sticky glue like substance all over it that I had to scrape off before we could even begin assembling it. There were two split boards and one of the splits had been filled with the glue. We went ahead and assembled it and realized the instructions are incomplete. The door track needs to be mounted to a wooden board (not included, hardware also not included) which is affixed to the wall. It cannot be mounted directly to the wall. the directions came with pictures of what it looked like when it was put together by no instructions on how to put it together. just a box of boards and bolts and screws and there ya go. very expensive for no instructions.

It's very heavy so be prepared to ask for help!

Haven't installed it yet, it's still in the box but I did look at it and the instructions. However, as much as this door costs, the least they could do is drill the holes and not make the customer do everything to put it together! It said it was easy to put together, really? LDS

Look at the list of tools you will need.

Beautiful door. Assembly of the door is required, and you probably don't have all the tools such as the large clamps. And you will mostly like need a supporting board under the rail. We purchased a 7ft oak board at Lowe's with stain and it came out beautifully.

I had my carpenter put together “it is a kit” and install this door I love it looks great, rolls smoothly, beautiful item for a reasonable price.. I got the black looks great on my new family room bath.

Barn door rocks

This barn door was exactly what was needed. Put it on a bathroom so had to improvise a way to close from the inside still working on a lock for the inside. Easy to assemble. It was primed so was easy to paint to match. It looks great.

Nice finish

Multiple Boards were warped. I was able to pull them in but once everything was fastened together the completed door has a bow to it that has resulted in a poor finished look and I need to try to fix.

Need to know exactly what needs to be assembled.

It should be made clear that the door itself comes in pieces. Assembly required sounded like you just need to hang the door and assemble the hardware . You also need extra tools to assemble.
