The 'Kazan' azalea bonsai is the most compact and slowest growing of all the satsuki azaleas. It has dark glossy green leaves that complement the bright pink blooms. This bonsai requires almost no trimming to maintain its size and shape. Blooms May - June. Always protect blooms from freezing. Thrives outdoors above 20 degrees with protection. Your bonsai tree thrives while windowsills stay dry and debris-free. A tray can also be used outdoors to improve conditions in dry or windy sites. Each live plant is shipped with the Phytosanitary Certificate as required by the USDA.
