The name says it all almost. Unlike most jumbo hostas that are slow to start each season, Kingsize takes off quickly, its huge, deeply veined leaves unfurling to hide withering bulb foliage in the spring and shelter small pets from the summer heat. Bell shaped, lavender flowers will soon arrive, attracting hummingbirds. Plant it in a large container to make a statement on the patio, or create a shady oasis next to a pond or creek.
