Bosch 800 Series 30 inch Double Electric Wall Oven Self-cleaning ( Stainless Steel )

New Bosch Double Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently replaced my 24-year-old oven, which finally failed, with a new Bosch 800 Series Double Wall Oven. I’ve only had it for a couple of days, but so far I’m very impressed. It heats up quickly, operates quietly, and the controls are simple and intuitive to use. Of course, it’s too early to say how it will hold up over time, but I’ll update this review after I’ve had a chance to use it for a while.

Bosch Double Wall Oven

Very happy with my new ovens with one important exception. I am hearing impaired and wear hearing aids. Even with that, I cannot hear the timers when they go off unless I am standing in front of them. I’m aware the volume is adjustable, but they are at the highest setting. My husband has excellent hearing and he can’t hear them from a distance either. My old oven timers could be heard from another room. We are an aging population after all

I love the glide shelf in the upper oven which makes it easy to slide heavy pots like Le Creuset or a roasting pan with a large bird or roast and/or liquid things like quiche or pumpkin pie.in and out of the oven with ease. Bosch 800 double oven

Lowe's install is HORRIBLE

We bought this and waited over a month for it to be delivered. The "delivery/installer" showed up and said they need to do some work to make the new one fit. The "work" is trimming the area it sits in as this one is apparently 1" taller than our older one (they don't make that exact size anymore. We had the same thing when our new dishwashers were installed and the installer knocked it all out. This installer said he had to contact Lowes and submit a new work ordrer.
