Tried using a masonry bit at first to drill through some porcelain tile and it failed miserably. This bit went through it in a breeze. I was thoroughly impressed.
Strong Bosch bit
I bought this Bosch 3/16-in 2-in Carbide tipped Right handed Glass and Tile Drill Bit to cut into tile and cement. It worked great! In fact, it was the second one I bought because the other one, another brand, broke, but this one went through well. I had to keep a bit of water to continue cooling it off. It is strong, and it works! I highly recommend it; worth the price!
Perfect find
Perfect bit for porcelain tile. Used it for 9 holes and still sharp.
