This Bosch Bulldog hammer is a manageable, powerful rotary hammer designed to get the job done. It provides superior performance and an outstanding impact-to-weight ratio. The GBH18V- 22N 18V Brushless 3/4 In. SDS-plus® Bulldog™ Rotary Hammer has KickBack Control, which reduces the risk of sudden tool reactions in binding conditions, and an anti-vibration system for great user comfort for extended periods of work. The hammer's easy-to-handle L-shaped design provides better control when drilling overhead or in tight spaces. It delivers 1.4 Ft.-Lbs. of impact energy (EPTA). It weighs only 5.1 Lbs. (tool only, not including battery). The hammer’s brushless motor maximizes battery runtime for extended performance. The 360-degree side handle provides a variety of grip positions for maximum ease of use. The hammer has Vario-Lock positioning to optimize the working angle when the tool is used in hammer-only mode. It has three modes of operation: rotary hammer, rotation only and hammer only.

Haven't had the chance to run it too hard yet but it handles a 1" bit through concrete like a dream. Seems very battery efficient for the power it has too. It hammers like a monster too, definitely my favorite cordless sds plus

over heats

Would Not Recommend

land surveying Drilling into dirt/gravel and it over heats quickly. Hitting a rock will make it stop and not drill. It doesn't have any balls to get the job done.

Well built tool and light

I bought this drill for work about two weeks ago. I needed a small but powerful drill for making holes in concrete and tile. The first thing that stood out about this drill is that it is light weight, even if you use a Bosch 8ah battery with this tool. this drill has enough power to drill 1/4 inch,1/2inch hole with no problem. It also can handle small demolishing task like removing brick and tile removal . The dept gauge is very handy. The anti vibration in the handle make for easy all day use. ...

ive always been a dewalt boy but i went qith this bc of the hammer only mode and I have no regrets. Bought a bosch chisel bit and it saved me hours of sanding. Right now they're running a free tool with the battery starter kit deal and its 100% worth it
