Good for saving paper but text too dim

My main reason for buying this was to save on paper waste. I take a lot of notes while doing research that I don't need to save. I do also like the save option for when I do want to save something and it was easy to link to my OneNote. It was a little tricky to pair the pen to my Android. Useless Manual

Have absolutely no idea how to use this letter size notebook. None. Zip. The”user” manual is useless. What is carbon copy. To heck with this, I’m ordering a return and refund,

Letter size

The pen is very unreliable. I find myself having to capture a picture of the note and save it in a folder. The pen will quite often send incomplete words, and add lines that are not visible on the note pad. I'm heavy handed and tried being more delicate, and made sure the pens camera was oriented properly in my hand. Had a few instances where the pen sent the note while beging at the top of the new page.

A product that does its job simply and well.

Perfect for my "beside the keyboard" use case. I take much better notes by hand, and the board/pen interface feels natural. The app is simple, and allows for single or multiple page documents merges. It's just enough to meet my needs and the price point is great. Comparing the Boogie Board to the other e-Ink solutions, it's a solid entry level device that is no-nonsense and easy to use.

Best Boogie Board to Date

I can with great enthusiasm say this Boogie Board set is what was needed for note-taking! It saves notes without being connected to the app. The folio case is light and protected the board well. The Carbon Copy Pen makes a small audible beep when you remove the cap to write. It will also beep while writing when not connected. The pen itself is rechargeable so you will always be able to save as long as you have power.

Good concept, but needs more work

It writes like paper, the problem is the black background doesn’t look like paper and it has a large glare under light. The sync feature is not useful in my opinion given it does not merge automatically so you end up with lots of partial notes.

The black board itself is a really useful and clean tool. The exact erase function is a little confusing but thats not a huge deal. Writing with the smart pen is pretty difficult since the tip is free floating and wiggles. It kind of defeats the purpose of being able to capture your notes when your hand writing gets shot because of a wiggly tip.

I can't believe how much I love this! I have many electronic tools for keeping drawn and hand-written notes, and this is my favorite. It's just so quick to get writing, and such an immediate experience! The writing is captured beautifully. And the Blackboard app on the phone makes it so easy to label and ship what I've written.

Best Writing Tablet

I'm a small business owner and my wife got me the Blackboard Smart Notebook set for my birthday because she knows how cluttered my desk is with random notes. This product is an absolute life changer! I no longer have random sticky notes plastered all over the place. I can easily jot down my notes and save them to the app with the tap of my pen!

Great product

Does exactly as advertised. Great product. Wish it could sync directly with Google. Also would be nice if you could add to a previous note. Otherwise, would highly recommend for someone who uses loads of yellow pads to keep notes like I did.
