happy with purchase
just purchased a couple of weeks ago. So far so good. The pump seems to work well. The only complaint I have is that there is no on/off switch...you have to plug/unplug the power cord each time and there is no safety trip on the plug. I wouldn't let that keep me from purchasing this model..it would just make it nicer. Also, I was able to put it together but i wish the instructions were a little clearer..maybe in color with more detailed pictures of how the hoses hook up. U tube videos were very...

Excelent Product
I recently purchased this filter at Lowe's. It is better than I expected. It was easy to install . took Less than i hour. BE CAREFUL. DO NOT USE PLAY SAND. I used the Clorox from Lowe's. it is better sand and takes %50 less so cost half as much to fill about $50.00 but last 5 years.
