Other shipment of Sod Pods worked relatively well and mostly survived. This batch seemed a bit less healthy and did not survive once planted for more than approximately 1 week or so. Very disappointing.

They chose a shipping speed that was slow enough to ensured plants would be dead on arrival. Then Lowes tried to evade responsibility by saying it was a 3rd party seller- selling on the Lowes website.

As advertised
I had a good experience with this. I needed to resod a strip where mud from the neighbor's yard had flowed onto my property. I decided to try these plugs. They were in good shape when I received them. I followed recommendations for planting. It was harder than I anticipated (maybe due to my age), so I was glad I only bought 16. It took about 3-4 months to spread enough for me to claim it a success.

This goes with my other review. Total of 8 trays in this order and another 8 (with Augur) in my other 'box'. All were in good to excellent condition on arrival and were delivered quickly. I made a detailed review for the other package and you can see everything there.

Did not arrive on delivery date
Ordered these as Bermuda Sod is out of season in my area. When checking out, said it would be delivered by Thursday. Was planning to do all the work Friday however they did not come in till Sunday. They arrived half dead as well as many people pointed out. I'm assuming due to the long shipping time. They plant fine, not sure if they will grow or die at this point. If it works decent product in an emergency, if you have the option wait and buy from a store.
