Bernzomatic Copper Phosphorus Brazing Rods 1/5 in x 12 in for Copper Pipe 3-Pack 328638

Bernzomatic Copper Phosphorus Brazing Rods (328638) are made for joining copper tubing and pipe in refrigeration, HVAC, electrical and plumbing work. Use them to braze copper to copper, or copper to bronze or brass, on pipes, electrical wires and flexible tubing. These copper brazing rods have a tensile strength of 40000 PSI and a working temperature of 1350 to 1550 degrees F, so they are used with a torch that can bring the joint up to brazing temperature. Each rod measures 1/5 in in diameter and 12 in long, and the package contains three rods. Clean the joint before brazing, heat the base metal evenly and wear eye and hand protection while working with the torch.
