Great for the money

Bought the generator to run my Lincoln 140 HD welder. The unit started out of the box on the 2nd pull. Very impressive. Ran my welder on the 30 AMP circuit and it performed awesome. The generator seems very powerful. The generator did not drag at all when using the welder. So far I am very impressed with the product and will see how it performs in the years to come. I would recommend this to a friend.

"On the Road Again"

The compression relief failed after about the second run and was repaired on warranty. Apparently, the repair station found big problems, because they replaced the engine. Then a month later, the carburetor leaked gasoline all over the garage floor and was again repaired on warranty. Several months after that, gasoline from the fuel tank joined with the oil in the crankcase, and it was again repaired on warranty. It is starting and running well now. Don't buy!! It wont Start

Bought this a year ago and it started on the third pull every time. Now I am lucky if it starts after 100 pulls. I changed oil, keep fresh (100% gas no ethanol) gas i it, use Stabil in the gas and test run weekly for an hour. Now it is -5 degrees out and wont start. I can't pull on it any more. Cheap garbage. I should have bought a real Generac with electric start to begin with.

Gonna work for me

Bought this because of Generac's reputation and quality of larger backups that I see at clients homes, automatic startup, runs on natural gas ect. It seems to be a well built product and has all the features I was looking for on a generator. Always look for At least 5 receptacles, as in the way this unit is set up. Fuel shutoff leaks so this is why not 5 stars. Will call tomorrow an see if they take care of me.

Will not run

I bought this Generator after a snow storm that nocked my power out. I got it hom and started it and twenty mins. later the power came on. So I didn't need it again untill the spring when a truck hit a pole next to my house. I pulled it out and could not get it to start. Eventually i drained the fuel and got it to work again and used it for one tailgate in October. Now I pulled it out two days ago because we are expecting some snow and it will not start again.
