Updated Review -- Critical parts
I wrote the earlier review after being told by Awntech support that the parts were not covered under warranty and that I had to purchase replacement parts. Since then, the Awntech warranty department emailed me and said they would be shipping replacement parts under warranty. Thus, I have to retract my previous negative review. 5 stars for the awning in general, minus a star for inconsistent messaging in my communications with them. Thanks for making it right!

Critical parts not covered under warranty
Installed the awning on June 23, 2023. After less than a year of light occasional use, I opened it on June 15, 2024. At this point, I notice one of the lateral arms did not have enough tension to fully open the awning, make it sag and droop on that side (see first picture). And when closed, that lateral arm sagged below the other one as seen in the second picture. Happy with it
It works well. Not incredibly hard to install. We did get a different color than we ordered, but liked it so kept it. It would be good to make prominent that one needs to plan for hardware for install. We hand crank it and it's working easily. More so than we thought.

A great investment! Perfect for sunny days over our deck. It did come with a dent. I believe it wasn’t the delivery services fault the way it is bent. It has to have been when they were making it. Other than that, it works great.

I had installed the Maui in less then two hours, very simple to install. we enjoy setting on the patio in the shade with a large glass of ice tea. money well spent.
