Track is the way to go!

Unbelievable beast of a snowblower. Bought mine in early 2024. Been excellent with ZERO issues. Very powerful and the track systems works extremely well for extra grip when you need it. I absolutely love using it!

Nice machine.

The snow blower worked properly when correctly adjusted. Lowes assembled the machine well except for one issue. The mechanism for moving the snow chute was not properly installed. The chute was backwards and would not move. The release was not connected and the screw that holds the cover in place was stripped from being over-tightened. Other than that the delivery went well.

Awesome Snowblower!

Purchased this model 4 years ago and let me say it’s well worth the price I paid and then some. I had a CT snow blower for years. My driveway is horrible for snow-blowing and what a difference with the Ariens. It’s excellent in all conditions. I love the two wheel to track option. Nothing but good things to say about this unit. 4 years and all I’ve had to do is shear pins. Recommend this unit. You won’t be disappointed.

I call it Rip & Snort

I bought my Platinum SHO 28 RapidTrak in the Fall of 2020. I live in northern Vermont. I'm on my 6th Winter with it. I have a very large driveway, part asphalt, part gravel, part level, part hill. I could not do the hill part without tracks. No question. This machine does it. On one occasion, in 6 years, when the snow was very wet and a foot deep, I was only able to blow down the hill part, and then come up via my blown path. Great machine, very agile, turns great, climbs great, starts great, bad chute design

I had a compact 24 for 5 years and it was very dependable but it was a lot of work. I live on a pretty steep gravel driveway and it just wasn't the correct machine. I then got the tracked Platinum 28" and oh man what a difference, i love this machine, with one exception. The chute handle is cumbersome, pull back move left or right, it's not as smooth as the crank Compact 24 style. For that reason i knock one star off. Modify the chute and it's a solid 5 stars

Incorrectly assembled

An amazing and very capable machine!

I bought this just about two years ago to replace my grandpa's old Simplicity snowblower. This thing is an absolute beast when it comes to devouring any snow put in front of it. The tracks bite into everything, and keep you moving uninterrupted.

Great Snow Blower

I bought one 3 years ago and I couldn't be happier. The tracks make it so much easier in the deep wet snow and my shoulders are very thankful for them. The ability to throw snow is amazing. Wet soggy snow even, albeit it doesn't go as far but it goes much further than my last blower did. No more making that extra pass to get that wet snow out of the way before it freezes. A true snow ‘thrower’!

Powerful for sure, really really throws the snow far and the tracks make it possible to go off road to clear trails to my buildings. Used thru two winters now in central Canada. One odd thing is the top of the dipstick housing is round but the cap inside is oval preventing the o-ring from seating properly and so oil slowly leaks out and makes a mess on its way down to rest in the undercarriage.
