Too Short

The product was well made but way too short for a mailbox post. Very disappointed. Lowes not doing a good job on the website. Not always giving dimensions.

Great, solid mail box post.

This is very strong. My old m/box got knocked down buy a drunk driver so here is my new post. My mail box weighs 50 lbs. So I needed a very strong post. We found it at LOWES.

We had to build a new mail box post after a drunk knocked ours old (25 yrs) down. So I bought a strong steel square beam 3" x 3" x 7 ft long. I dug the hole 3 ft deep and then put in 16 bags of Redi-Mix concrete and then steel beam into the the hole and hammered it deeper into the hole. A Little Library

I purchased this post not for a mailbox, but for a little library. it works great with the container that was attached to it. The only thing that had to be changed was that I needed longer screws to attach the container to the post.

Not Bronze

The post we ordered said it was bronze but it is actually silver/grey. Doesn’t match the mailbox by the same company with the same color name. Now have to go through return process and find another post. Very disappointed.

Color

This post is not bronze. It is graphite bronze and is on the grayer side. My bronze mailbox is brown. Disappointed with my whole purchase since my mailbox was dented and the post didn’t match.
