After reading the reviews, I was a little leery to purchase this faucet. But I just couldn't get over the fact that I have always wanted this style of faucet, but just couldn't justify spending hundreds more for a professional one. So I took the plunge. I was worried that the because the spring is pretty stiff I wouldn't be able to reach the corners of my double basin sink like I use to with my pull out sprayer on my old Aquasource faucet (builder level faucet that was put in with the house when...
Watch that Gasket!
I assembled this beast (it is very hefty) before dropping the sink into place. After connecting the water and removing the sprayer (to clear the line per instructions), I got nothing. About an hour later after many mumbled curses, I came to two realizations about this faucet. The first, is the small gasket is very important. If it is not seated correctly it will choke off a great deal of the water. The second, is that the sprayer hose can become twisted and kinked during installation, choking of...
Beautiful design and easy to install
I had to purchase this on a moment's notice because my Moen handset went bad (different design) for the second time and the ceramic cartridge was on its way out. I was tired of repairing and replacing it. This new AquaSource (which the Lowe's plumbing dept assistant told me was Lowe's brand) is very nice. Looks and fees commercial grade and my wife loves it. I removed my old faucet and installed this without the base plate, into granite, in about a 90 minutes. I'm not a plumber but I've done it ...
Nice Faucet for the Money
We chose this faucet for our new kitchen. We did not install it ourselves because it was installed as part of a new build. It seems to be well made and works as described. We have not had any problems with the sprayer button, although I do see where some might say that the plastic doesn't feel high quality. It has been a challenge to get used to the way the lever functions, coming from a standard builder's grade faucet. But that will improve with time, definitely not the fault of the product. O...
terrible water pressure
The faucet looks terrific and installs fairly easily. The tipping others complain of is simply caused by inadequate care on installation. It pretty much requires a second person to steady the faucet from the top while the nut is tightened from below. Problem is that the pressure is woefully inadequate. Our house has poor pressure, but no other faucet we have used has had this problem including the one that was present when we bought the house, the first replacement model (hoses failed after a mo...
comparatively good value
If you compare this faucet to the ones it's modeled after it's a great value. I haven't seen one under $500.00-600.00 until now. The quality of the finish is sub standard. I mounted mine with no plate just the fixture to granite, which seems to have corrected the leaning issue, however I would recommend going to your good local ace/true value hardware store to upgrade the o-ring/seal to mount this way. This does create one issue in that you now have no stops (water on counter if not paying atten...
Great fauet for the price.
I went to Lowe's with a list of possible faucets to purchase then I saw this one. I had not read any reviews on it but loved it at first sight for it's features. I had it professionally installed, due to an injury to my arm, and it works really great. The water pressure is great and it shuts off with one finger. The sprayer can be used while in it's collar. There is only one feature about this product that seems to be an issue. It seems that with the internal plumbing of the fixture, when instal...
Good for the price
Black plactic spray button broke off after one week. They are sending me a new one. The flex hose that is attached to the spray head could be a bit longer for better use. I tried to mount the faucet only in a single hole on my counter but when you tighten up the mounting hardware it pulls the faucet on an angle and it looks crooked so I had to use the 3 hole base plate and it still pulled to one side a bit but looked better. Overall the faucet style looks great, price is good, and except for the...
No water flow
I installed this faucet relatively easily. It took a while to figure out that the mounting screw is also faucet spray tube. However once completed, the water flow (hot or cold) was half of the other faucets in the house. This seems to echo other reviewers experiences. I took it apart and re-installed. Same issue. Also the design of the "pullout" spray is totally just for looks. You can just move it forward and backward, but no up and down motion at all. Kind of useless. I decided to return it ...
Read features carefully
I agree with most of the reviews: great price, installs quickly, works great, has great pressure and love the high arc BUT it clearly estates it’s a pull down. Well, not exactly, you can disengage it and pull it as far as the spring will let you, it doesn’t have any extra hose. The high arc greatly diminishes how much you can actually pull it down. I called the factory customer service and they do not have an extension. It didn’t work for me and had to return it.
