What Customers Are Saying
This pool brush has mixed performance. It effectively cleans pool walls and steps but struggles to vacuum up larger debris. Many users reported issues with the brush construction, such as bristles falling out, the frame breaking, and the hose attachment not staying secure, leading to the brush becoming unusable after a few months. However, some found it worked well for cleaning fine particles and algae, and noted it was a good value and easy to use. Overall, the brush has significant durability and design flaws that make it unreliable for many customers.

This pool brush would be a great buy if two things were change and that's the problem because they are two major function issues for a pool brush- 1) Its designed to to fit both 1.25" and 1.5" hoses. I have 1.5" hoses and no matter what I did, the hose would no stay on. I pushed it on so hard it split one of my hoses. 2) The bristles are not even, they are cut so they are not completely flat but slightly staggered. You CANNOT use the brush in a downward motion against the side of the pool. Th...
Bristels falling out
I bought this about 6 months ago and used it a couple of times by hand while in the (concrete in-ground) pool. It seemed to do a good job on the sides and on steps which don't get cleaned with the crawler. Today when I started the same routine, the bristles started to fall out, leaving dozens of short white plastic hairs floating in the pool. I managed to suck up many with the hose and pool sock. I hope the skimmer will eventually get the rest. We never used a pole, so the plastic mounting didn'...
Piece of junk - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
I'd give it zero stars if I could. I bought this to use as an adjunct to the robot cleaner, which was acting up and had to be taken out for repair or replacement. The first time I used it, I managed to swish it over about 6 linear feet before the plastic mounting broke and the brush was useless. I *might* consider buying another brush from Lowe's if it has a metal connector. But do not waste you money on this one or any one that has a plastic mounting. Additionally, even if the mounting hadn't ...

Doesn't work as a vacuum, poor as a brush.
This brush/vacuum combo seems like a great idea, but it is NOT good as a vacuum, and only OK as a brush. The white brisles are actually raised and don't touch the sides or bottom of the pool. Since that's where the vacuum hose connects, it isn't able to get the finer particles off the bottom of the pool. It's better than no brush, but not a sub for a vacuum at all! I do not recommend buying this. Wondering if I can return it and get my money back, but I don't have the plastic bag it came in or t...

Bristle all fell out - waste of money
Purchased this brush and worked good at first however within 6 months all the bristles began falling out. Some would float to the surface of the pool and others would sink to the bottom. Looks like from everyone's else's reviews this brush is a terrible buy. Do not recommend.
I "Invented" This Clever Product
Two weeks ago, while vacuuming my pool, I noticed that some of the neglected items on the bottom of the pool (leaves, sticks, dirt) had left their own marks on the plaster. I wondered how I might attach brushes to my pool-vac head, so to loosen what was stuck. Using a separate brush worked well, but it added yet another step to the process -- a job I already don't like doing. Imagine my delight to find this combination vac head and brush. The only thing that keeps it from being perfect is that ...

Bad Brush
Haven’t had this for very long and now the bristles are coming off/breaking. Meanwhile, the other, very old brush, still performing. It makes me sad and angry how things arent made like they used to be, made to last. Now all they make is junk. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy this brush.
looks nice but doesn't effectively clean
I wouldn't waste your time with this brush. It doesn't clean very good and takes multiply passes to accomplish what my non vacuum brush does in one pass. The vacuum does not direct much of the debris into the hose, only what is directly under the hose attachment. Just get the vacuum head that looks like a triangle with bristles around the outside edge, that one seems to work the best...

Good brush -- POOR design
Have replaced twice in 2 seasons due to breakage. If you use any force at all when brushing, the plastic insert that goes into your pole breaks right at the neck. Lowes replaced the last one, but the new one just broke two days ago. Going to try another return today, and swap for brush w metal construction--unfortunately seems all the vac. brushes are made of plastic. However-if you're not trying to brush concrete, maybe just sweeping a vinyl pool, it may last longer. In that case, the brus...
not so great
I thought this would be a perfect upgrade from my old just regular brush especially for the price. Unfortunately attaching the vacuum is pointless becuase there is so many brushes it makes it hard to vacuum anything besides small debris. So i used it for brushing the walls until it just broke on me after owning it maybe a year. Great idea but just didn't work out. I am learning very fast to stay away from anything made out of plastic. As you can see in the picture it almost looks new. I barely u...
