Ampex3515FK (5 panels) residential insulation R16 -30 psi (40 square feet) panels are used for radiant floor (slab) heating systems both for interior and exterior applications. The combination of molded expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation with a vacuum applied high impact polystyrene (hips) film lower face, makes for a strong and resilient panel. The panel combines rigid insulation, a vapor barrier and a pipe locking mechanism into a single solution, that significantly reduces installation time and labor. Ideal for installation in residential basements, patios, sidewalks, workshops and livestock barns; any concrete slab that will not have vehicles or heavy equipment used on it. They are also available in a wide range of other compressive strengths and thermal resistance values to meet the needs of most projects.
