Leaky Toilet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After replacing toilet seal twice we realized the leak was coming from the bolts. My husband changed the bolts, which he purchased at a local hardware store, but the leak continued around them. He replaced them once more, but they continued to leak. Basic flaw in toilet tank design
While the gasket package itself was of reasonable quality, even using one of the two replacement tank gaskets from this package we still have a slight leak problem. In my opinion, there is a problem with the design of the tank gasket assemblage. Other toilets have a nut on the bottom of the tank to compress the gasket directly through the tank base layer. This tank only has that nut below the attachment to the base unit of the toilet, so excessive tightening causes a risk of breaking the porc...
