Difficult assembly
This is a well-made patio dining set. Unfortunately, assembly is difficult and some carpentry experience is very helpful. Each chair comes in 4 major pieces that are to be joined with mortise and tenon joinery held in place with spiral dowel pins. The dowel pins are slightly larger than the holes into which they are to be fitted, so each hole needs to be reamed with a drill bit. Assembly instructions are minimal and there is no mention of the dowel pins or the use of wood glue in the joinery...
