The HEPA-Pure filter is the standard True HEPA filter used to capture allergens like dust, pollen, dander, and fur from the air. A pre-filter, attached to the front, helps to remove the larger dust, dander and hair and pet fur from the air and can be gently vacuumed to extend the life of the filter. Thick layers of HEPA filtration material is what matters the most when air filtration is concerned and Alen makes very thick filters that fit snuggly into the filtration compartment for optimal performance. Double check the model’s name on the top of the unit to ensure correct filter-fit, BreatheSmart Classic is the only unit that just says, “BreatheSmart”.
