Research before investing
Works ok but a huge pain to assemble. Maybe seperating the nuts, screws, bolts, etc. would be a step in helping (other companies have them seperated and labeled). And assembling and installing the aerators would be nice. For the price you pay, you end up spending a few hours (approx. 3+) assembling, which is too many if you ask me.

takes a bit to put this aerator/spreader together
the delivery men delivered an open box.. I mean totally open with all the parts thrown into the bottom of the box. They even showed me a picture of it given to them like that at the warehouse. Some of the parts were wrong. I had to call the manufactor and have the correct parts sent. I have not had a chance to use it as yet.

Lift/lower handle poor design
Products functions good however the handle to raise and lower the axel broke off before I even used it the first time. Welded poorly in that spot. Poor design

I have 5.5 acres with 3.5 being lawn. Last May I purchased the Agri Fab spike/dropper. It took 3 hours to assemble with confusing instructions and the hardware was very sub par. The fertilizer drop gate never aligned straight from left to right and the whole metal assembly is cheap. Jump forward to this May and the whole chain assembly and spreader turning rod rusted solid. operates exactly as advertised
This aerator/spreader is wider so it carries more of what your spreading in fewer trips, everything about the unit is quality made and easy to assemble. Mine was missing 2 washers but I had some in my bins. I would recommend this unit over a metal tub unit due to corrosion from the chemicals tends to destroy the metal hoppers.
