This oil removal cartridge was designed to provide a simple and effective method of removing dissolved and dispersed oil in water. Developed specifically for use in the gas and oil production industries, it also works on marine bilge and ballast water treatment systems, contaminated surface water runoff and other industrial process industries. It is made from modified cellulose-based filter media which has been processed into sheets and assembled into cartridge form and can typically reduce hydrocarbon containment up to 90-95 percent in a single pass. This cartridge does not add any harmful chemicals to the water and is safe for a wide range of water purification applications.
