1. Will this shed work for you?
Size: There should be at least 1 ft of empty space around the shed and enough clearance at the front for the doors to open.
Permits and local codes: Check with your local building department and HOA (if applicable) to find out if a permit is required. If your shed is over 200 sq ft, or includes a concrete foundation, electricity, or plumbing, you’ll likely need a building permit.
Budget: Lowe’s offers financing options to help you get your dream shed and cover related expenses.
2. Can it be installed on your site?
A flat surface is essential for shed installation. Based on your site and shed type, here are a few ways to level the ground:
- Gravel and blocks
- Concrete slab
- Manual leveling
The site must be accessible for material delivery and equipment, if needed.
